Install notes

The macOS build is unsigned and not notarized. On first launch, macOS may require right-click Open.

The appcast is signed with the O+K release key so Conduit can verify O+K-managed update manifests separately from Apple code signing.

Artifacts

  • Conduit.dmg: macOS alpha install artifact.
  • Signed appcast: Update-check manifest signed by O+K.
  • Bridge extension ZIP: Chrome/Brave developer-mode install.
  • Windows and Linux preview packages exist in the release build, but are not yet presented as supported downloads.

Known alpha caveats

  • No Apple Developer signing or notarization yet.
  • The browser extension is developer-mode only until the Chrome Web Store listing exists.
  • Windows and Linux packages are preview artifacts, not polished installers.
  • Untrusted requests always require local review; approval runs once and does not create a trusted session.
